Role Overview
We are looking for a highly motivated Data Engineer, ideally a last year student/recent graduate, who is eager to launch their career in a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment. As a Data Engineer at Lotus Field Analytics, you will play a critical role in building and optimizing our data infrastructure, ensuring that our platform's backend can efficiently process and analyze large-scale financial data. This role can be a part time or full time position depending on the availability of student
Responsibilities
- Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines that can handle high-volume data input and processing.
- Data Integration: Collaborate with the AI and product teams to integrate various data sources and ensure data quality.
- Performance Optimization: Develop solutions to optimize data retrieval and processing speeds, ensuring low-latency interactions.
- Database Management: Manage and scale cloud-based data storage solutions for both structured and unstructured data.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of processes and data architecture.
- Machine Learning Expertise: A sound understanding of ML-models, how to evaluate and to deploy them.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Recent graduate in Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Skills: Familiarity with Python, SQL, and cloud data storage platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure). Tools such as PyTorch, Tensorflow, etc.
- Experience: Relevant coursework, internships, or personal projects related to data engineering, ETL processes, or database management.
- Technical Aptitude: Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and basic principles of distributed computing.
- Team Player: Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work in a cross-functional team.
- Problem-Solving: Enthusiastic about tackling complex challenges and contributing to a fast-evolving platform.

Location: Flexible/Remote, However candidate needs to be residing in the Northern part of Sweden due to investor demands. Candidates outside of the region will not be considered
